Our client, a winery situated in the Overberg district, has a Sales and Marketing Manager position available. The role includes regular travel, with monthly visits to Gauteng and weekly visits within Cape Town and the Winelands. The position will also require national and occasional international travel.

The successful candidate will be responsible for (but not limited to): *Domestic & International Sales: Grow and retain domestic & international trade business; Implement sales strategy across key markets; Manage distributor and representative relationships; Conduct trade training and tastings; Lead trade visits, events, and shows; Liaise with WOSA and Agulhas Wine Triangle; Build international distributor and media relationships. *Events & Sampling: Manage budgets for sampling/events; Coordinate and attend trade/media events; Support logistics, samples, and international importer events. *Commercial & Financial Coordination: Manage budgets and pricing structures; Communicate pricing to distributors and representatives; Monitor sales performance and track results against budgets; Provide regular performance reports. *Brand Management: Oversee brand execution; Drive brand growth and maintain consistency across markets. *Wine Club Support: Support wine club sales and logistics; Assist with packing, QC, and deliveries; Plan wine club and consumer events. *Marketing & Social Media: Oversee digital marketing & social media strategy; Manage supporting internal & external marketing resources; coordinate content planning & ensure consistent online brand presence. *Seasonal Support: Provide additional in-person support during high season or events when required *All other tasks related to this role.

Essential qualifications, skills, and experience:
• A degree in Marketing Management or similar field;
• Minimum 5–8 years' experience in a similar role;
• A strong understanding of brand development, premium positioning and international market dynamics;
• Proficiency in Pastel and Microsoft Excel;
• Valid drivers license and own reliable transport;
• Ability to travel regularly both locally and internationally.
