SanLucar has a position available for a Production Supervisor to join their team at De Hoek Farm in Saron, Western Cape. The farm specialises in the cultivation of world-class blueberries for international markets.

This role is best suited to a dynamic and proactive individual looking to grow within the agricultural industry. The ideal candidate will combine technical agricultural knowledge with a hands-on approach to ensure a sustainable, high quality blueberry harvest.

The successful candidate will report to the Production Manager and be responsible for: *Supervising a small core team and managing larger seasonal labour forces during peak harvest periods *Ensuring efficient execution of farm operations and production plans *Maintaining high standards of crop quality, field hygiene, and cost control *Assisting in the implementation of farm systems, monitoring processes, and ensuring compliance with production standards *All other tasks related to the role.

Essential qualifications, skills and experience:

• A tertiary qualification in Agronomy or a related Agricultural field;

• 1-2 years’ experience in berry production, including supervising small teams and coordinating seasonal labour;

• Knowledge of key farming activities such as pruning, pest disease, weed control, and general crop and production management;

• Good computer literacy (MS Office, specifically Excel);

• Experience with SIZA or similar compliance systems will be advantageous.
