Role Overview :
To lead and strengthen iSchoolAfrica’s commitment to disability inclusion and accessibility by driving the growth, quality and impact of the Inclusion Programme nationally.
Key Responsibilities:
• Overall co-ordination of the Inclusion Programme
• Oversight of client relations, curriculum implementation, training, rollout andsustainability
• Budget and resource management
• Monitoring, evaluation and reporting on programme effectiveness and impact
• Ensuring quality assurance and continuous improvement
• Facilitation of educator workshops and training sessions
Relationship management with schools, funders, government and partners
• Representation at conferences and sector events
• Advocacy for disability inclusion and accessible technology
• Develop and deliver training on disability inclusion and accessibility for internal teams
• Support organisational alignment with inclusive best practice
Skills & Experience Required :
• Minimum 5 years experience in disability inclusion, accessibility or inclusive education
• Proven experience managing and implementing inclusion programmes
• Strong understanding of the South African disability and education landscape
• Technologically confident — particularly in using Apple technology to enhance accessibility
• Excellent facilitation, presentation and communication skills
• Strong stakeholder management abilities
• Solid project management skills, including budgeting and reporting
