RPO Recruitment's client, a leading engineering firm in Cape Town is seeking a Civil/Structural Engineer or Technologist to join their mining infrastructure team in Cape Town.

This role will focus on the design, detailing, and analysis of heavy-duty reinforced concrete foundations and steel mining structures that support critical mineral processing and mining operations. You will be responsible for preparing drawings, general arrangements (GAs), and structural analyses to ensure safe and efficient designs.

Requirements:

• BEng/BSc/BTech degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Professional experience in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD.
• Strong working knowledge of Prokon for structural analysis.
• Experience with Strand7 for advanced Finite Element Analysis (FEA) is advantageous.
• Technically skilled with a solid understanding of heavy-duty civil and structural design principles.
• Able to produce high-quality drawings and analyses to meet project specifications.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail in complex engineering projects.
