Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced Automotive Sales Representative to join our team within the 4x4 and vehicle accessory industry.
This role involves assisting customers with the selection and purchase of aluminium canopies, load bin accessories and related aftermarket products for bakkies and off road vehicles.
The ideal candidate must have previous experience in automotive sales and a good understanding of bakkies, 4x4 accessories and vehicle fitment products.
This position is based in Germiston and involves working closely with customers, installers and the operations team to ensure a smooth sales and delivery process.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist customers with the selection and purchase of canopies and vehicle accessories
• Provide product advice based on vehicle model and customer requirements
• Prepare quotations and convert enquiries into sales
• Maintain strong relationships with retail and trade customers
• Follow up on customer leads and sales opportunities
• Maintain strong product knowledge of bakkies and aftermarket accessories
• Work closely with installation teams to ensure accurate order fulfilment
• Deliver a professional customer experience at all times
Candidate Requirements
Minimum Requirements
• Fully bilingual in English and Afrikaans
• Minimum 5 years proven sales experience
• Previous experience in automotive, 4x4 or vehicle accessory sales
• Good knowledge of bakkies and aftermarket vehicle accessories
• Valid driver’s licence
• Own reliable vehicle
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Experience
• Experience selling aluminium canopies or vehicle accessories
• Experience dealing with fitment centres, dealerships or trade clients
• Knowledge of common bakkie platforms such as Ford Ranger, Toyota Hilux, Isuzu D Max, Amarok and similar vehicles
