How you'll role

The Senior Project Lead is responsible for the end-to-end commercial and operational delivery of client solutions. This role ensures projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget, while managing delivery as a revenue-generating function. Key responsibilities include overseeing structured execution, monitoring profitability, defining KPIs, and ensuring effective cross-functional alignment, while providing strong client-facing delivery leadership. You'll be the central liaison between Sales, Strategy, Solutions Architecture, Engineering, and Client stakeholders, ensuring that solutions are strategically aligned, technically feasible, commercially viable, and operationally executable.

What you'll do

Commercial Delivery Management

• Structure phased project plans (Discovery, Design, Build, QA, Launch, Optimisation)

• Align project milestones with payment schedules and revenue recognition

• Track project budgets against actual resource allocation

• Calculate and monitor project profitability and margin contribution

• Identify scope creep, margin risk, and delivery bottlenecks

• Ensure delivery remains commercially sustainable

Scope Validation & Solution Alignment

• Translate approved proposals into detailed, executable scope

• Validate technical feasibility with Solutions Architect and Engineering

• Confirm integration requirements (CRM, APIs, payment gateways, data systems)

• Identify dependencies and delivery risks

• Define measurable KPIs prior to build commencement

• Ensure alignment to client business objectives and broader solution roadmap

Client-Facing Project Leadership

• Lead project kick-offs and structured implementation sessions

• Act as primary delivery contact during implementation phase

• Facilitate weekly project meetings and milestone reviews

• Provide structured progress reporting to clients

• Manage timelines, expectations, and escalation where required

• Align pre-launch success criteria and acceptance standards

Journey Design & Flow Mapping

• Translate solution scope into structured conversational and automation flows

• Design WhatsApp user journeys in Figma

• Map logic trees, triggers, and system integrations

• Produce build-ready design artefacts for Engineering

• Ensure journey logic aligns with defined KPIs and commercial objectives

Technical Coordination & Delivery Execution

• Break scope into sprint-based deliverables

• Confirm engineering timelines and capacity requirements

• Monitor progress against agreed milestones

• Manage QA and testing cycles

• Ensure go-live readiness and delivery sign-off

KPI Definition & Performance Oversight

• Define measurable success metrics prior to implementation

• Align performance dashboards and reporting requirements

• Monitor 30/60/90-day performance against agreed KPIs

• Identify optimisation opportunities post-launch

Internal Reporting

Provide weekly structured reporting on:

• Project status and phase

• Budget vs actual delivery cost

• Margin forecast

• Delivery risks and mitigation actions

• Client sentiment and engagement

• Revenue milestone tracking
