Role OverviewWe are seeking a dynamic and passionate Guide & Administrative Couple to join our lodge team. This position is ideal for a couple where one partner is responsible for guiding guests and outdoor activities, while the other oversees administrative, reservations, and front-of-house duties. Together, the couple will ensure seamless lodge operations and deliver exceptional guest experiences.The successful candidates will be enthusiastic, guest-focused, organised, and able to work independently in a remote lodge environment.Guide Responsibilities (Partner 1)Key ResponsibilitiesConduct daily game drives, bush walks, and guest activities.Share knowledge about wildlife, nature, and conservation with guests.Ensure guest safety during all outdoor activities.Maintain guiding equipment and vehicles.Assist with lodge hosting and guest interaction.Provide engaging and informative experiences for guests.Monitor wildlife sightings and contribute to conservation awareness.Assist with lodge operations when required.Administrative Responsibilities (Partner 2)Key ResponsibilitiesManage reservations, bookings, and guest enquiries.Handle lodge administration and office duties.Coordinate guest check-ins and check-outs.Assist with front-of-house operations and guest hosting.Manage emails, phone calls, and guest communications.Prepare reports, guest registers, and documentation.Liaise with suppliers and assist with stock ordering.Support the lodge manager with operational administration.Shared ResponsibilitiesProvide exceptional guest service and hospitality.Assist in general lodge operations when needed.Work closely with lodge management and staff.Maintain a positive and professional lodge atmosphere.Assist with events, dinners, and guest entertainment.Uphold lodge standards and brand reputation.

- FGASA Level 1 or higher (preferred)
- Valid PDP Driver’s License
- First Aid certification
- Previous safari guiding experience
- Strong knowledge of wildlife and bushveld ecology
- Excellent storytelling and guest interaction skills
- Strong safety awareness
- Passion for wildlife and conservation
- Professional presentation and communication
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings
Minimum Requirements
- Previous administration or hospitality experience
- Computer literacy (Microsoft Office, booking systems)
- Experience with reservations or front office duties preferred
- Excellent organisational and multitasking skills
- Strong communication and guest service abilities
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently
- Professional and friendly personality
- Couple must be comfortable living in remote lodge environments.
- Willingness to work hospitality hours including weekends and public holidays.
- Strong teamwork and communication between partners.
- Passion for hospitality and guest service.
