A fantastic career opportunity awaits the right candidate at Cape Town's premier family jewellery company operating in Cape Town since 1979, namely Prins & Prins Diamonds based in Cape Town's CBD. 

We are seeking an energetic and positive Marketing Liaison, to market our company with the aim of securing new referral business within specifically Cape Town's tourism sector, whilst also looking after existing business. 

The ideal candidate:

  • Passionate about sales, people, and be luxury orientated
  • Energetic with a positive attitude
  • Excellent with customer service and good at building lasting relationships
  • Good communicator
  • Eager to supplement the basic salary with a commission based incentive

Please note: this is not an office based position, but will require the candidate to "be on the road", calling on properties and companies in person in and around Cape Town. OWN PERMANENT AND RELIABLE TRANSPORT REQUIRED.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

  • Offering an exceptional experience, and service
  • Develop new relationships, & maintain current and past relationships with key clients
  • Assist with our business communication strategy
  • Assist with in-house sales when required (training can be provided)
  • Assist in distribution of company marketing collateral
  • Identify  new business opportunities, gather market & customer information
  • Continuous client contact
  • Reporting & Maintaining client records

Required Skills

  • Marketing: 3 to 4 years
  • Sales: 3 to 4 years

Candidate Requirements

     Minimum Requirements

    • Experience as a representative on the road would be advantageous
    • Proven track record in a Sales Driven Role (four to six years' experience)
    • Self-driven, well groomed, presentable with a happy disposition, helpful and supportive, trustworthy and reliable
    • Excellent communicator in preferably both English and Afrikaans (3rd language advantageous)
    • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
    • Knowledge of gems and jewellery will be advantageous 
    • Valid driver's license & own transport
    • Must be able to work outside of standard working hours if and when required
    • No criminal record
