KAMOA COPPER SA is looking for a Specialized Artisan, Auto Electrician(3 positions)

The Kamoa Copper Mine is a joint venture between Ivanhoe Mines (39.6%), Zijin Mining Group (39.6%), Crystal River Global Limited (0.8%) and the Government of the Democratic Republic of Congo (20%). It's a very large, near-surface, flat-lying, stratiform copper deposit with adjacent prospective exploration areas within the Central African Copperbelt, at approximately 25 kilometers west of the town of Kolwezi and about 270 kilometers west of the provincial capital of Lubumbashi.

To maintain, service and repair 24V electrical components on equipment and machinery to ensure availability for mining operations. The incumbent tasks an assistant and the scope / portfolio of this role includes performing planned and preventative electrical maintenance and assist the Mechanical team.

You will have the following:

• Must have a N4 Certificate
• Qualified Trade tested Auto Electrician
• Must have completed relevant safety and risk assessment training and courses
• Must have at least 6 years’ experience as a post qualified trade tested artisan in an underground mine
• Proficiency in business English is mandatory. Knowledge of French, Swahili, and Mandarin will be considered highly advantageous.
