Twee Jonge Gezellen, a leading MCC estate based in Tulbagh, is looking for a Production & Technical Operations Coordinator to oversee the end-to-end secondary production process for sparkling wines, with a dual focus on technical machinery maintenance, and facility infrastructure (IT/Security).

This role ensures that all bottling, labelling, and disgorging operations meet international quality standards while maintaining the site’s technical systems. The ideal candidate has above average administrative and recordkeeping skills, with strong attention to detail and quality standards.

Duties will include (but not be limited to): *MCC Production & Disgorging: Coordinate MCC production schedules with the winemaker; Manage automated disgorging line and machine calibration; Oversee dosage, corking, and wire-hooding processes; Ensure quality control and compliance before labelling. *Packaging, Labelling & QA: Supervise labelling, capsules, and packaging standards; Verify batch numbers, vintages, and disgorging dates; Maintain and troubleshoot labelling equipment. *Administration & Compliance: Maintain production records and dry goods inventory; Ensure SAWIS and export labelling compliance; Coordinate with suppliers and export logistics. *Technical & Facility Support: Manage preventative maintenance of production equipment; Assist with IT, CCTV, and telecom systems; Provide general technical support across the cellar and offices.

Essential qualifications, skills, and experience:

• A relevant qualification in Viticulture, Oenology, Wine Technology, or related field;

• At least 3–5 years’ experience in a similar production or cellar operations role;

• Knowledge of bottling, labelling, and packaging line operations;

• Strong technical and mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot equipment;

• Understanding of SAWIS and export compliance requirements;

• Ability to work independently and coordinate with production and logistics teams;

• Valid driver’s livence and own reliable transport.
