Icon Healthcare Holdings is seeking a Medical Billings and Collections Clerk who will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of all financial patient billing transactions, the integrity of data captured on the Billing system and the collection of outstanding accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Adherence to Process (Billing and Collections Clerk's Processes)

• Compliance with System Controls (Billing and Collection Clerk's Processes)

• Complete, accurate and proactive billing of patient accounts

• Reconciliation of patient accounts 

• Processing of Accounting transactions

• Prompt investigation into queries

• Queries resolve with medical aids

• Debt collection and confirmation of receipt of funds

• Allocation of payments

• Update of patient records and status

• Distribution of patient statements

• Customer service delivery and satisfaction

• Customer/Internal communication while maintaining good relationships

• Perform ad-hoc task as required and requested
