Seeking an experienced Automation Tester with strong UFT and C# expertise to join a leading banking client based in Sandton (onsite role).

The successful candidate will have solid experience within Banking, Payments and/or Cards environments and must be hands-on in automation framework development and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain automated test scripts using UFT (Unified Functional Testing)

• Develop and enhance automation frameworks using C#

• Execute regression, integration and system testing

• Perform API and service testing (SOAP/REST)

• Validate payment flows, transaction processing and card systems

• Analyse defects and work closely with Developers and Business Analysts

• Participate in Agile ceremonies (Sprint planning, stand-ups, retros)

• Ensure high-quality delivery within banking compliance standards

Minimum Requirements

• 6–8+ years Automation Testing experience (Senior Tester level)

• 10+ years experience (for Lead level consideration)

• Strong hands-on experience with UFT (non-negotiable)

• Solid experience with C#

• Experience in Banking / Payments / Cards (mandatory)

• Experience testing financial transactions, SWIFT, ISO messages, or card systems

• Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies

• Ability to work onsite in Sandton

Advantageous

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines

• API testing tools (Postman / SOAP UI)

• SQL knowledge

• Exposure to performance testing tools
