The ideal candidate is energetic, commercially aware, and confident engaging with clients in a fast-paced environment. This role suits someone who enjoys building relationships, identifying new opportunities, and maintaining excellent service to an existing client base.
Key Responsibilities include: *Manage and grow sales in the Cape Town region *Assist with the development and implementation of sales strategies, with a focus on onboarding new clients *Identify and research innovative lead generation opportunities *Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients *Communicate effectively with clients regarding pricing, product options, and stock availability *Represent the company brand professionally *Maintain accurate sales administration, including invoicing, credit notes, and document uploads *Utilise internal systems to manage and process sales information *All other tasks related to the role.
Essential qualifications, skills and experience:
• Matric required;
• Relevant tertiary qualification will be advantageous;
• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role sales or client-facing role;
• Proven experience working with systems such as Unleashed, Xero and Hubspot;
• Experience in packaging, FMCG, food service supply, or B2B distribution would be preferrable;
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel nationally.
