Job PurposeWe are seeking a proactive and experienced Hands-On Project Manager to oversee and drive the successful execution of the expansion project at Lumwana, Zambia. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing project timelines, coordinating teams, and ensuring that installation and construction activities progress according to plan.Unlike traditional project management roles, this position requires a strong on-site presence and hands-on involvement, with the ability to actively assist the team and contribute to installations and equipment shifting when necessary.Project Planning & CoordinationPlan, coordinate, and manage project activities from start to completionMonitor project timelines, milestones, and deliverablesEnsure project goals are achieved within the required timeframeSite OversightMaintain a strong on-site presence to monitor construction progressCoordinate daily activities with the Site Supervisor and installation teamsEnsure work is completed according to project specificationsHands-On SupportProvide practical support on site when requiredAssist with installations, equipment shifting, and operational tasks where necessaryLead by example through active involvement in site operationsProblem SolvingIdentify challenges and delays earlyImplement practical solutions to keep the project on trackSafety & ComplianceEnsure compliance with health and safety standardsPromote a safe working environment across all teams

Minimum Requirements
Experience

• Proven experience as a Project Manager within construction, mining, or industrial environments
• Demonstrated experience managing site-based projects
• Experience coordinating construction, installation, or infrastructure projects

Technical Skills

• Strong understanding of construction and installation processes
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and project plans
• Experience with construction tools and equipment

Physical Requirements

• Physically fit and capable of assisting with on-site work when required
• Comfortable working in remote or industrial environments
