Inviting applications for the role of Accounts Receivable Collections Specialist – Management Trainee – English – on site Johannesburg

Key responsibilities/activities:
•    Proactively manage the collection of overdue customer accounts in accordance with company credit policies and contractual terms.
•    Conduct detailed account reconciliations, ensuring the accurate allocation of payments and resolution of disputes.
•    Investigate and resolve queries related to invoices, short payments, credit notes, and disputed transactions.
•    Prepare and maintain AR ageing reports, collection forecasts, and risk assessments.
•    Engage professionally with internal stakeholders, including Sales, Operations, and Customer Service, to accelerate issue resolution.
•    Maintain thorough documentation of all collection activities and support audit requirements.

Key Performance Indicators:
•    Achievement of monthly collections targets.
•    Reduction of Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) and aged debt (60/90/120+ days).
•    Accuracy and timeliness of account reconciliations.
•    Resolution of customer disputes within established service-level timelines.
•    Compliance with internal controls, credit policies, and audit standards.
