Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic HR Recruitment Generalist to join our team at Green Fields New Mine. As an HR Recruitment Generalist, you will play a crucial role in attracting top talent to our organization as we build our team for this new venture.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates for various positions within the mining industry
Manage the full recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring
Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and requirements
Utilize various recruitment channels and tools to identify and engage with potential candidates
Coordinate and participate in job fairs, career events, and other recruitment activities
Conduct reference checks and background screenings for potential hires
Ensure compliance with all employment laws and regulations throughout the recruitment process
Duties:
Create job postings and advertisements for open positions
Review resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates
Conduct phone and in-person interviews with candidates
Maintain accurate and up-to-date recruitment records and documentation
Communicate with candidates and provide updates throughout the recruitment process
Assist with onboarding activities for new hires
Collaborate with other HR team members on special projects and initiatives

Candidate Requirements

Inherent Requirements:

Knowledge of Mining Industry: Understanding of the mining industry, including the operational processes, industry regulations, and safety standards specific to a new green fields mine.
Recruitment Expertise: Demonstrated experience in end-to-end recruitment processes, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding candidates at various levels within the mining industry.
Compliance Management: Ability to ensure all recruitment activities comply with industry-specific regulations, legal requirements, and internal policies set forth by the mine.
Relationship Building: Strong interpersonal skills to establish and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders, external recruiters, and potential candidates to meet recruitment goals successfully.
Data Analysis: Proficiency in analyzing recruitment metrics and data to identify trends, optimize recruitment strategies, and contribute to continuous improvement in the recruitment process.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with diverse audiences, present findings, and convey complex information clearly and concisely.
Team Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, HR partners, hiring managers, and external vendors to ensure a seamless recruitment process that aligns with the mine's strategic goals.
Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to address recruitment challenges, anticipate future needs, and provide innovative solutions to attract top talent to the green fields new mine.
