Duties:

This hands-on role requires a blend of management, technical skill, and strong reconciliation abilities. You will be responsible for:

• Cash reconciliations

• Cash counts
• Handling cash and electronic payments to clients 
• Full Financial Management: Overseeing the entire accounting process, including processing, preparation of management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, and cash flow forecasts
• Discrepancy Resolution: Taking immediate ownership of the general ledger. Your first priority will be to investigate, identify, and resolve outstanding variances and historical financial backlogs
• Process Improvement: Designing and implementing robust internal controls and efficient accounting procedures to prevent future errors and improve financial reporting accuracy
• Audit Liaison: Serving as the key contact for external auditors, preparing all required schedules and documentation for the annual audit
• Reporting: Accurate and on-time preparations of reports such as profit and loss reports, management account report, etc
