As a Real Estate Sales Agent, you will be responsible for assisting clients with buying, selling, and renting residential properties while providing professional guidance throughout the process.
Key Responsibilities include:

Client Prospecting and Relationship Building: Proactively identify and engage potential buyers, sellers, landlords and tenants through networking, referrals and marketing activities. Build and maintain strong professional relationships to generate new business opportunities.

Property Listings and Marketing: Source new properties for sale or rent, prepare property listings, and market them effectively through property portals, social media platforms, and other marketing channels.

Property Viewings: Arrange and conduct property viewings with prospective clients, providing accurate information about the property, surrounding area, and market conditions.

Client Consultation: Understand clients’ needs and preferences and match them with suitable properties that meet their requirements and budget.

Negotiation and Sales Process: Facilitate negotiations between buyers and sellers or landlords and tenants to help secure successful agreements.

Transaction Coordination: Assist clients throughout the transaction process by coordinating with attorneys, bond originators, inspectors, and other stakeholders to ensure a smooth and efficient process.

Market Knowledge: Stay informed about local property market trends, property values, and industry developments in order to provide informed advice to clients.

Administrative Duties: Maintain accurate records of listings, viewings, offers, and client interactions, and ensure all documentation is completed correctly and in compliance with industry regulations.
The ideal candidate is proactive, client-focused and motivated to achieve sales targets while delivering a high standard of service and professionalism throughout every property transaction.

Candidate Requirements
Minimum Requirements:

Education: Matric / Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.

Real Estate Qualification: A valid Real Estate qualification or current registration with the relevant property regulatory authority will be advantageous. Candidates currently working toward the qualification may also be considered.

Experience: Previous experience in real estate sales, property rentals, or a sales/customer-facing role will be beneficial.

Computer Skills: Basic computer literacy, including experience with email, Microsoft Office, and online property listing platforms.

Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and present information clearly.

Language Ability: Ability to communicate effectively in English. Additional languages will be considered an advantage.

Driver’s Licence: A valid driver’s licence and reliable transport are preferred due to the nature of property viewings and client meetings.
- Equipment: Must have access to a personal cellphone and laptop to manage client communication, listings, and administrative tasks.
