A well-established Sanlam Blue Star Financial Services business based in Bellville needs the services of a person with a customer service orientation to support the Financial Advisors who specialises in financial planning of professional clients and must therefore possess over strong administrative and interpersonal skills.
Core functions include:
- Assist the Financial Advisors to prepare for appointments with clients, including gathering the necessary documentation and information for client portfolio reviews
- Processing of new business and investment applications
- Capture and submit new business (NUB) applications timeously and do follow-ups when required
- Manage and obtain outstanding requirements i.e. medical information, bank details, FICA documents
- General administration of client information on the data basis
- Written and verbal communication with clients such as the handling of client queries
Required Skills
- Administrative Skills: 4 to 5 years
- Insurance Products: 3 to 4 years
Candidate Requirements
- Grade 12 as well as a minimum 5 years experience in the financial services, investment and life assurance industry
- Good knowledge and understanding of financial products and investments
- Very good communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational and time management abilities as well as attention to detail and accuracy in handling tasks
- Proficient in using CRM software, MS Office and Web tools
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Remuneration:
- Salary of R25000/month negotiable based on relevant experience and skills
- 22 working days annual leave
