Our client in Vereeniging is looking for a BUYING ADMINISTRATOR to join them.

Minimum requirements:

Relevant Diploma required with 3 years Imports and Exports experience / 3 years experience in similar environment
Procurement Operations: Prepare and process purchase orders, follow up on purchase orders, arrange daily collections or deliveries
Ensure all procurement documentation is accurate before goods receipt and submission to Accounts Department
Supplier Management: Source materials and services from suppliers, negotiate pricing, quality, delivery and payment terms
Make procurement recommendations and conduct supplier audits
Procurement Administration : Administer and maintain supplier agreements and contracts
Maintain and update material standards, exchange rates and raw material trends
Provide sample components for development and quality approval
Inventory and Logistics Coordination: Coordinate with Stores Department to monitor inventory levels
Compliance and Reporting: Compile and submit weekly and monthly procurement reports
Strong negotiation and supplier management skills
Knowledge of procurement processes and supply chain principles
Understanding procurement legislation and compliance requirements
Computer literate, SAP, ERP system knowledge required
