A well-established Cold Store company is looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to join their team.The position is based in Montague Gardens, Cape Town. The suitable candidate will need at least 10 years of experience in a cold store and logistics environment.  

POSITION PURPOSE:  

The main purpose of this position is to fill the complete maintenance function of the entire facility, this will include but not limited to the monitoring and reporting of the refrigeration systems, maintenance of the sub-ambient facilities, management and control of assets, building upkeep to ensure a safe and compliant operational functionality of the site while remaining within budget.

Ideal candidate should have some electrical experience in cold storage environment. 

 KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS/OUTPUTS/RESPONSIBILITIES

•    Effective monitoring and reporting of Refrigeration Systems.    

•    Maintain and adhere to all audit preparation and communication.

•    Upkeep and maintenance of Building and facility.     

•    Assure energy efficiency at all times

•    Full Maintenance of the sub ambient facility.
