Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Platforms Engineer with a deep understanding of containerization and its orchestration, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of designing, implementing, and maintaining robust solutions to support our high-performance applications. The candidate should advocate for automation at all times and instil a DevOps culture throughout the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate the deployment process and ensure fast and reliable releases

• Develop and automate operational processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.

• Collaborate with software engineers to optimise application performance and reliability.

• Implement best practices for infrastructure as code, configuration management, and monitoring.

• Assist Cloud Engineers with the implementation of cloud architecture and infrastructure, ensuring seamless operation between our Kubernetes clusters and cloud infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

• 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer in a Fintech or related industry.

• Strong proficiency with Terraform / OpenTofu, Terragrunt, and Terraform Pull Request automation.

• Expert knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies (OCI runtimes and Kubernetes).

• Strong knowledge of ArgoCD or FluxCD.

• Strong proficiency with version control systems and CI/CD pipelines (Git, GitLab, GitHub, Tekton).

• Good programming or scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Golang.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

• AWS experience is a strong plus.
