A leading company in the drum manufacturing and steel industry, situated in Springs, has a vacancy for a Maintenance & Equipment Technician.

Duties & Responsibilities
We are looking for a highly skilled Maintenance or Equipment Technician with experience in automated industrial fabrication machines e.g. seamers, cutting and welding machinery and PLC-controlled systems.

Candidate Requirements
- Hands-on experience with the machinery indicated above.
- Strong mechanical understanding of automated industrial fabrication machines, including troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and breakdown repairs.
- The ability to build and/or modify machines.
- Understanding of hydraulics.
- Solid PLC knowledge for monitoring, fault-finding, and basic programming on production equipment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and proactive approach to maintenance.
- Good communication skills to liaise with engineers, operators, and production management.
