- Develop and maintain relationships with restaurants, wine bars, retailers and private clients
- Proactively generate new business opportunities and grow existing accounts
- Present and sell wines from our international and local portfolio
- Conduct tastings and client meetings
- Manage client allocations and new releases
- Maintain regular contact with key accounts
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets
- Represent Rueda Wine Co. professionally within the wine industry
- Assist with wine events, tastings and trade shows
- Work closely with the internal sales and logistics teams

We are seeking a motivated, commercially driven Wine Sales Representative to join our growing team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for building strong relationships with restaurants, retailers, and private clients while expanding our market presence.
Key Responsibilities
This role suits someone who is passionate about wine but also commercially minded, with the ability to build lasting client relationships.
We are looking for individuals who enjoy building relationships and growing accounts. A passion for wine is important, but sales ability and commercial drive are essential.
Required Skills
- Account Management: 2 to 3 years
- Client Relationship Management Experience: 2 to 3 years
- Client Relationship Building: 2 to 3 years
- Wine Sales: 2 to 3 years
Candidate Requirements
- Previous sales experience (wine industry preferred but not essential)
- Strong interest in wine and wine culture
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated and target-driven
- Ability to work independently and manage a client base
- Professional presentation and strong interpersonal skills
- Valid driver’s licence and own reliable vehicle
- Computer literacy (email, Microsoft Office, spreadsheets, CRM systems)
- Wine qualifications (WSET, Cape Wine Academy or similar)
- Previous experience in wine distribution, hospitality or beverage sales
