- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures aligned with the company’s operational goals.
- Provide strategic HR support to Operations and Store Management teams across multiple QSR locations.
- Ensure HR practices support operational efficiency, employee engagement, and staff retention.
- Maintain HR governance and compliance across all stores.
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for store-level and management positions across multiple stores.
- Implement recruitment strategies to attract high-performing candidates in the QSR environment.
- Conduct interviews, assessments, and onboarding processes.
- Oversee probation reviews and employee confirmations.
- Guide store management on disciplinary procedures, grievances, and performance management.
- Chair disciplinary hearings and ensure fair and legally compliant processes.
- Represent the company at CCMA conciliations and arbitrations when required.
- Ensure compliance with South African labour legislation, including BCEA, LRA, and EEA.
- Manage industrial relations issues and promote a positive employee relations environment.
- Oversee payroll processes to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely salary payments.
- Manage payroll inputs, including overtime, leave, deductions, and staff changes.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements such as PAYE, UIF, and other payroll-related legislation.
- Maintain accurate HR records, employee files, and HR reporting.
- Identify training needs across stores and support employee development initiatives.
- Assist in implementing training programs for store management and staff.
- Promote leadership development and succession planning within the business.
- Implement and manage performance management systems across stores.
- Support store managers with performance improvement plans and employee development strategies.
- Monitor staff productivity and engagement levels.
- Conduct regular store visits to support management and staff.
- Ensure consistent HR practices and policies across all locations.
- Support operational teams with workforce planning and staffing levels.
- Prepare HR reports on staffing levels, turnover, absenteeism, and labour costs.
- Ensure HR compliance audits are conducted regularly across stores.
- Support BBBEE, Employment Equity, and Skills Development initiatives where applicable.

Required Skills
- Payroll Management: 4 to 5 years
- Ccma: 5 to 6 years
- Hr Manager: 5 to 6 years
Candidate Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Human Resources Management or Industrial Psychology.
- Minimum 5 years HR experience, preferably within the Quick Service Restaurant (QSR), hospitality, or retail sector.
- SAGE 400 + Excel experience
- Proven experience managing HR for multi-store operations.
- Strong knowledge of South African labour legislation.
- Experience handling CCMA cases, disciplinary hearings, and employee relations matters.
- Experience overseeing or managing payroll processes.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel between stores.
- Strong employee relations and conflict resolution skills
- Excellent knowledge of labour law and CCMA procedures
- High attention to detail and strong administrative skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced QSR environment
- Strong leadership and coaching ability
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High level of integrity and confidentiality
