A reputable construction company is looking for an experienced Creditors Controller with expertise in accounts payable and financial reporting. The role involves managing creditor accounts, ensuring timely payments, maintaining accurate records, and supporting financial compliance initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Match invoices to requisitions, purchase orders, and goods received notes for accuracy
• Process invoices for payment and ensure timely settlement
• Maintain and update vendor master listings and payment schedules
• Reconcile creditor accounts and assist with balance sheet reconciliations
• Prepare monthly creditor and cost/profit centre reports
• Follow up on outstanding invoices and supplier queries
• Ensure accurate filing and documentation of financial records
• Support B-BBEE initiatives and ad-hoc management tasks

Requirements:

• Matric/Grade 12 certificate and finance-related diploma or degree
• 3–5 years’ experience in accounts payable or financial accounting
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting systems (Pastel, QuickBooks, or similar)
• High attention to detail, integrity, and ability to work in a team
