Role Purpose
As a Sales Consultant at PayJustNow, your primary responsibility is to ensure that newly signed merchants are successfully onboarded, trained, and equipped with the necessary marketing materials to drive adoption and performance. You will also play a proactive role in identifying new business opportunities and supporting the growth of PayJustNow’s merchant network. This role bridges sales, onboarding, and relationship management to ensure long-term merchant success
Core Responsibilities
Merchant Onboarding & Enablement
• Ensure newly signed merchants are trained on PayJustNow’s systems, processes, and customer journey.
• Coordinate the delivery and setup of in-store and digital marketing materials.
• Act as the primary point of contact during the initial onboarding phase.
Merchant Relationship Support
• Address early-stage merchant challenges and ensure smooth operational integration.
• Monitor merchant activity and performance during the initial rollout period.
• Provide feedback to internal teams on merchant needs and potential improvements.
Sales & Business Development
• Identify and pursue new merchant acquisition opportunities in line with strategic goals.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform outreach strategies.
• Represent PayJustNow at industry events, merchant meetings, and networking opportunities.
Cross-functional Collaboration
• Work closely with marketing, operations, and support teams to ensure merchant readiness.
• Share insights from the field to inform product, marketing, and sales strategies.
• Maintain accurate records of merchant interactions and pipeline activity.
Key Success Metrics (KPIs)
• Number of merchants successfully onboarded and activated
• Merchant satisfaction and feedback during onboarding
• Timeliness of training and marketing material delivery
• New business opportunities identified and converted
• Internal feedback on collaboration and communication
