💼Junior Technician
Our client is looking for a motivated and dependable Junior Technician. The ideal candidate must be able to work independently as well as part of a team, performing maintenance and support on various electronic security systems. This role requires someone who can work under pressure, manage time effectively, and communicate clearly while maintaining high standards of workmanship and service.

📍Location: Midrand
💰Salary: R15,000 - R17,000
🕰️Working Hours: Monday – Friday| 07:30-17:00 Standby every third week
📅Start Date: As soon as possible

Key Responsibilities:
· Maintenance of access control, CCTV, and electric fencing systems across various sites.
· Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on security systems.
· Identify and report faults found during maintenance.
· Assist with troubleshooting and basic fault-finding on security systems.
· Complete daily job cards and maintenance reports accurately.
· Assist senior technicians with installations and repairs where required.
· Ensure all work is performed according to company and industry standards.
· Maintain a professional approach when interacting with clients on site.

Job Requirements:
· Minimum 1+ year experience in the electronic security industry.
· Valid driver’s license.
· PSIRA Registered.
· Good working knowledge of Access Control systems.
· Computer literate.
· Knowledge of electric fencing systems.
· Exposure to and basic knowledge of boom gates, network CCTV systems, backup systems, and Access control.
· Good communication and reporting skills.
· Must be in good health and able to work standby on a roster system.

Hoof Verantwoordelikhede:
· Onderhoud van toegangsbeheer-, CCTV- en elektriese heiningstelsels op verskeie terreine.
· Voer roetine inspeksies en voorkomende onderhoud op sekuriteitstelsels uit.
· Identifiseer en rapporteer foute wat tydens onderhoud gevind word.
· Help met basiese foutopsporing en probleemoplossing op sekuriteitstelsels.
· Voltooi daaglikse werkkaarte en onderhoudsverslae akkuraat.
· Help senior tegnici met installasies en herstelwerk waar nodig.
· Verseker dat alle werk volgens maatskappy- en bedryfstandaarde uitgevoer word.
· Handhaaf ’n professionele benadering wanneer daar met kliënte op terrein gewerk word.

Pos Vereistes:
· Minimum 1+ jaar ondervinding in die elektroniese sekuriteitsbedryf.
· Geldige bestuurslisensie.
· PSIRA Geregistreer.
· Rekenaarvaardig.
· Goeie werkende kennis van toegangsbeheerstelsels.
· Basiese blootstelling aan elektriese heinings.
· Blootstelling aan en basiese kennis van boomhekke, netwerk CCTV-stelsels, rugsteunstelsels en toegangsbeheer.
· Goeie kommunikasie- en verslagdoeningsvaardighede.
· Moet in goeie gesondheid wees en bystand diens volgens ’n rooster kan werk.
