Candidate Requirements

Position: Sales Executive

Industry: Freight
Inherent Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Sales Executive in the Freight industry or a related field.
• Strong understanding of the Freight industry, including knowledge of logistics, supply chain management, and transportation.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to effectively present and negotiate with clients.
• Proficiency in using customer relationship management (CRM) software to track leads, manage accounts, and analyze sales data.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet and exceed sales targets.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify market trends, customer needs, and opportunities for growth.
• Flexibility and adaptability to quickly respond to changing market conditions and customer requirements.
• Proactive approach to generating leads, following up on inquiries, and closing sales deals.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple accounts, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to travel to meet with clients, attend conferences, and industry events.
• Responsibilities and Duties:
• Develop and implement sales strategies to attract new clients, expand existing accounts, and increase revenue.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in the Freight industry to generate leads and secure sales opportunities.
• Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
• Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and contracts to potential clients.
• Negotiate terms and conditions of sales agreements to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes for both the company and the client.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including operations, finance, and customer service, to ensure seamless delivery of services to clients.
• Monitor sales performance metrics, analyze sales data, and report on progress towards sales targets.
• Keep abreast of industry developments, regulations, and best practices to stay competitive in the Freight industry.
• Attend trade shows, conferences, and networking events to promote company products and services and build industry connections.
• Provide exceptional customer service to clients, addressing any inquiries, issues, or complaints in a timely and professional manner.
