Our client is looking for an experienced Electrical Proposals Engineer to lead the costing and preparation of electrical, control, and instrumentation (EC&I) components for major tenders. This role offers the chance to contribute to high-impact water and wastewater projects across South Africa and Africa.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead costing and preparation of EC&I tender components
• Ensure technical compliance and accuracy with engineering teams
• Liaise with suppliers and service partners for competitive pricing
• Consolidate engineering and drawing hours into detailed cost breakdowns
• Ensure submissions meet ISO 9001:2015 standards
• Prepare handovers to project teams post-award

Minimum Requirements

• Higher Diploma in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
• 10+ years’ tendering experience, including R60M+ electrical scope
• Strong knowledge of EC&I systems: MVSG, transformers, MCCs, PLCs, SCADA
• Experience with ISO 9001:2015 processes
