💼Candidate Quantity Surveyor

Our client is seeking a skilled and professionally registered Quantity Surveyor to join their Programme Management team. This role is ideal for an experienced QS with strong expertise in contract administration, financial management, and compliance within a structured project environment. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring projects are delivered within budget, aligned to programme requirements, and fully compliant with contractual and regulatory standards.

💰Salary: R40 000-R50 000

Key Responsibilities:
· Ensuring adherence with cashflow and programme.
· Drafting and reviewing of cashflow and programme.
· Meeting deadlines.
· Keeping the server up to date at all times.
· Ensuring that all documentation is filed correctly.
· Managing procurement of Contractors and PSP.
· Managing consultant’s appointments and performance.
· Managing contractor’s appointments and performance.
· Complying with all processes and protocols.
· Management of Contracts, including JBCC and NEC.
· Checking, reviewing and endorsing Contractor’s payment certificates and invoices.
· Checking, reviewing and endorsing PSP fee claims and invoices.
· Review of appointments, additional fees, and any other related matters.
· Checking, reviewing and endorsing all financial aspects of Contract Instructions / Compensation Events / Extension of Time on the portfolio.
· Making sure Auditor General audits are successfully completed.
· Perform additional administrative tasks as required under the supervision of a Programme Manager.

Job Requirements:
· Degree in Quantity Surveying.
· Professional Registration with SACQSP.
· Minimum 3 years’ post SACQSP-registration experience.
· Experience in professional consulting QS firms.
· Experience in contracts (JBCC and NEC) administration and financial administration.
· Experience in Project/Programme Management is advantageous.
· Knowledge of CIDB, PROCSA, Fee Scales, and consultant appointments.

Hoof Verantwoordelikhede:
· Verseker nakoming van kontantvloei en program.
· Opstel en hersiening van kontantvloei en program.
· Nakoming van sperdatums.
· Hou die "server" teen alle tye op datum.
· Verseker alle dokumentasie korrek geliasseer word.
· Bestuur verkryging van Kontrakteurs en PSP’s.
· Bestuur konsultante se aanstellings en prestasie.
· Bestuur kontrakteurs se aanstellings en prestasie.
· Nakoming van alle prosesse en protokolle.
· Bestuur van Kontrakte, insluitend JBCC en NEC.
· Kontroleer, hersien en keer Kontrakteurs se betalingssertifikate en fakture goed.
· Kontroleer, hersien en keer PSP-fooi-eise en fakture goed.
· Hersiening van aanstellings, addisionele fooie en verwante aangeleenthede.
· Kontroleer, hersien en keer alle finansiële aspekte van Kontrak Instruksies / Vergoeding Gebeure / Tydsverlengings op die portefeulje goed.
· Verseker dat Ouditeur-Generaal ouditte suksesvol afgehandel word.
· Verrig addisionele administratiewe take soos benodig onder toesig van ’n Programbestuurder.

Pos Vereistes:
· Graad in "Quantity Surveying".
· Professionele Registrasie by SACQSP.
· Minimum 3 jaar na SACQSP-registrasie ondervinding.
· Ondervinding in professionele konsultasie QS-firmas.
· Ondervinding in kontrakadministrasie (JBCC en NEC) en finansiële administrasie.
· Ondervinding in Projek-/Programbestuur is voordelig.
· Kennis van CIDB, PROCSA, Fooiskale en konsultant-aanstellings.
