Our client, a leading insurance software provider, is looking for a Rating Developer to design, develop, and maintain insurer rating components within their platforms.

This role combines technical development, mentoring, and stakeholder collaboration, ensuring high-quality, scalable software while upskilling the team. The ideal candidate will have strong C# / VB.NET / MS-SQL skills, experience with rating algorithms, and a good understanding of insurance processes.

Required Skills & Experience

•                 Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.

•                 Proven experience in developing rating algorithms or engines for insurance products.

•                 Strong programming skills in languages such as C#, VB.net and MS-SQL

•                 Familiarity with actuarial concepts and rate-making processes.

•                 Experience with databases (SQL) and data manipulation.

•                 Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

•                 Strong communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

•                 Knowledge of cloud-based platforms and microservices architecture is a plus.

Preferred Skills

•                 Experience working with policy administration systems.

•                 Minimum of +5 years’ experience

•                 Understanding of the regulatory environment in the insurance industry.

•                 Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

•                 Experience with database design and development

•                 Familiarity with machine learning and predictive modelling techniques.

•                 High emotional intellect

•                 Good time management skills
