Hasher Family Wines, situated in the prestigious Hemel-en-Aarde Valley outside Hermanus, is seeking to appoint a Senior Tasting Room Ambassador to join their team.

This role is suited to a mature, self-managed hospitality professional, who understands premium guest experiences and has a genuine passion for wine. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering an exceptional tasting experience, managing the day-to-day functioning of a boutique tasting room, and representing the brand at a high standard.

Given the size of the tasting room, the role requires flexibility, initiative and strong organisational ability. As a growing wine business, the position offers scope for development, particularly with the planned expansion into a new tasting facility within the next two years.

Key responsibilities will include (but not be limited to): *Host and conduct professional wine tastings *Deliver a premium, brand-aligned guest experience *Manage daily tasting room operations independently *Oversee stock control and ordering for the tasting room *Process sales and maintain accurate records *Maintain presentation standards of the tasting space *Assist with basic reporting and administration *Support brand initiatives and promotional activities in collaboration with marketing.

Minimum requirements:

• Prior hospitality experience (essential);

• Passion for wine and willingness to deepen product knowledge;

• Professional, well-presented and confident communicator;

• Self-disciplined and able to operate independently;

• Strong interpersonal and customer engagement skills;

• Own reliable transport;

• Availability to work Wednesday to Sunday, 09:00 – 17:00 (Sunday closing at 16:00).
