We are seeking an accomplished engineering professional to lead the South Africa Mining Division and drive operational excellence, commercial growth, and strategic alignment with Komatsu’s regional and global objectives. Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Business Planning

• Formulate and execute the Mining Division’s strategic plan in alignment with KAfH and KLTD strategic growth priorities
• Translate divisional strategy into operational plans, performance measures, and business objectives
• Define and manage the medium‑term CapEx plan

Operational & Financial Management

• Prepare, implement, and monitor divisional budgets and business plans
• Oversee the planning, monitoring, and control of divisional financial and operational resources
• Lead the implementation of processes and procedures to ensure achievement of operational objectives
• Monitor divisional performance using defined metrics

Technical & Customer Engagement

• Provide expert technical leadership, particularly within the earthmoving maintenance environment
• Establish and maintain strong customer relationships
• Liaise with global affiliates to ensure alignment with Komatsu standards and international best practice

People Leadership

• Build and lead a high-performance division aligned with Komatsu’s values and culture
• Create a safe, efficient, and productive working environment
• Identify talent needs and development opportunities while driving employee growth and maintaining professional discipline

Risk, Contractor & Supplier Management

• Manage contractor and supplier relationships to ensure optimal service delivery
• Oversee division-level risk management, including safety, health, and environmental compliance
