My client, well established kitchen design and cabinetry company based in Randburg, is looking for an additional member to join their team - a technical kitchen designer.

This designer will be:

• Responsible for translating client concepts and project briefs into precise, detailed and manufacturable plans.
• The position is the technical engine of the design process creating a comprehensive suite of drawings for each project.
• Interpretation of the site measurements and notes.
• They will use CABINETVISION and create individual units and designs for client presentation and internal review
• They will produce 2D technical drawings for manufactured components including joinery and cabinetry.
• They will develop comprehensive factory drawings that provide clear instructions for the production teams including dimensions, materials and assembly methods.
• and they will ensure that all drawings adhere to company standards, industry best practices and project specifications.
• Producing BOMs and detailed specifications.

This person will work closely with the MD and sales team and will travel to clients to gain a detailed description of the job required.

They will liaise with the production team to ensure drawings are practical and manufacturable; they will ensure that technical specifications for materials, finishes and hardware are clearly and completed noted on drawings.
