We are seeking a dynamic and hands-on Restaurant Manager to lead our team in delivering operational excellence and an exceptional guest experience. The successful candidate will take full responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, ensuring smooth service, effective team management, and consistent customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth and efficient service
Lead, manage, and motivate staff to maintain high performance standards
Deliver exceptional customer service and engage confidently with guests
Handle guest queries, complaints, and feedback professionally and effectively
Manage stock control, ordering, and inventory to minimize waste and control costs
Monitor food and beverage cost management to ensure profitability
Implement and maintain operational policies and procedures
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards
Conduct staff training, scheduling, and performance management
Drive sales initiatives and maintain service excellence standards

Candidate Requirements
Key RequirementsSouth African ID
Grade 12 (Matric)
Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager within a busy, high-volume environment
Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage confidently with guests
Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to manage, guide, and motivate a team
Solid stock control experience and understanding of cost management
Strong organisational and operational management skills
Ability to work under pressure and maintain high standards
