Our client in Benoni is looking for a Store Manager. They are looking for someone to supervise the day-to-day operations of the store and ensure it runs smoothly and efficiently in accordance with their policies and procedures. The overall aim of the store’s manager is to make sure our clients receive excellent customer service through adhering to the store's policies and procedures, and to take full responsibility for the accuracy of stock on hand and the performance of the store's staffSalary: R25 000 - R30 000 based on experience

Minimum requirements:

Matric essential
Qualification in management or related field
3-5 years' experience in a managerial position

Duties and Responsibilities

Managing, directing and monitoring the stores' pickers, packers and drivers
Picking and Packing orders
Receiving Stock and the overall quality control for all received items
Maintaining an accurate stores database on Pastel Evolution
Maintain a LIFO system of stock in the stores
Handling stock queries from our sales team
Managing and identifying stock variances and interrogating the Pastel Evolution database
Reduction of stock variances
Accurate annual, weekly and monthly spot stock checks
Maintaining a store's housekeeping program to keep the store's environment safe and clean
Continuously monitor and direct the efficient allocation of storage bays for stock allocation
Clear bin and stock identification of products and label management
Reduce errors on picking slips and improve customer service
Check and sign off on the loading of vehicles for the drivers
Bring any issues to the attention of management that may adversely affect the day-to-day operations of the business
Liaising with the assembly team leader to manage consumables and reduce stockouts of manufacturing consumables
Liaising with the assembly team leader and internal sales manager to prioritise assembly schedules and resources
Receiving and checking of all manufactured stock
Managing and directing our quality control policies.
