Botselo Mills (Pty) Ltd, a dynamic milling company situated in Delareyville, North West Province, seeks to appoint an experienced person to fill the above position.
The industrial marketer (B2B marketer) is responsible for the sales and marketing of extruded food products to industrial customers. It entails B2B (business-to-business) marketing.
This post reports to the Sales Executive of the company.
Key responsibilities
Strategy & Planning: Develop comprehensive sales and marketing plans for specific industrial segments, identifying target customers and opportunities.
Research & Intelligence: Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory developments in the industrial sector.
Lead Generation & Business Development: Drive pipeline growth through targeted campaigns and work closely with national and regional key accounts to deliver, innovative new solutions that will enable their success.
Customer Relationship Management (CRM): Build and maintain strong relationships with industrial clients, understanding their complex needs.
Performance Tracking: Drive profitable volume growth at direct and distribution accounts and monitor key performance metrics (KPIs), analyse campaign effectiveness, and reports to management.
Candidate Requirements
A degree in sales and marketing or communications
5 - 10 years of industrial product marketing experience, ideally where the “product” involves extruded food products,
Confidence, a self-starter mindset, and ability able to work effectively with little supervision and authority
Familiarity with manufacturing applications and go-to market models
Proven results in analysing data and trends to create relevant and actionable business insights
Proven results in building customer relationships
Proven results in solution selling – position product in terms of quality, efficiency and cost savings – not just as commodity
Experience in driving product awareness
Experience of working in an industry-aligned environment, with a good understanding of the business decision-maker audience in the industry.
Negotiation skills
Technical consultation skills – ability to explain difference between various products
