We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated General Foreman to oversee and coordinate on-site construction activities for civil engineering projects. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, a solid understanding of labour-intensive construction methods, and a proven track record in delivering high‑quality work in line with project timelines and safety standards.

Minimum Requirements

• NQF 5 Certificate in Labour Intensive Construction Methods (Compulsory)
• 3–6 years’ experience in civil construction
• Copy of qualifications is non-negotiable
• Signed affidavit to confirm availability to start June 2025
• Proven experience supervising site teams and subcontractors
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, quality standards, and safety regulations
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem‑solving abilities

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily site operations and ensure work is completed according to specification
• Manage and supervise site staff, labour, and subcontractors
• Implement labour-intensive construction techniques effectively
• Monitor productivity, progress, and quality control
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies
• Report daily progress and challenges to the Site Agent / Project Manager
• Contribute to maintaining a positive, safe, and efficient work environment
