Job Title: Parts Salesman

Position Summary:
We are seeking a Parts Salesman to join our team. The Parts Salesman will be responsible for selling automotive parts and accessories to customers, providing excellent customer service, and accurately processing transactions.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and assist them in finding the right parts and accessories for their vehicles.
- Identify customer needs and recommend suitable parts and accessories.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the company’s point of sale system.
- Provide information about product specifications, pricing, and availability to customers.
- Keep the parts store clean and organized, including stocking shelves and maintaining inventory levels.
- Assist with receiving and restocking parts shipments as needed.
- Work closely with the Parts Manager to achieve sales targets and meet customer service goals.
- Stay up-to-date on new product releases and promotions to effectively promote sales.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a professional manner.
- Follow company policies and procedures regarding sales, returns, and exchanges.


Qualifications:
- Matric or equivalent.
- Previous experience in automotive parts sales or a related field is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to build rapport with customers.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer skills and experience using point of sale systems.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items, as needed.
- Knowledge of automotive parts and accessories is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license.
