Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Mechanical Handyman to join our maintenance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot and repair a variety of mechanical systems and equipment. The Mechanical Handyman will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on machinery, equipment, and facilities to ensure they are operating efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct routine maintenance on mechanical systems and equipment.
2. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues as they arise.
3. Perform preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment to prevent breakdowns.
4. Inspect and assess mechanical systems for potential issues or improvements.
5. Assist with the installation and setup of new mechanical equipment.
6. Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed.
7. Comply with all safety regulations and procedures.
8. Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications:
1. Matric certificate and any relevant qualification.
2. Proven experience as a mechanical handyman or similar role.
3. Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems and equipment.
4. Knowledge of basic hand and power tools.
5. Good communication and organizational skills.
6. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
7. Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor.
