Employer: Caprae Capital
Caprae Capital Partners
Caprae Capital Partners is a next-generation private equity and venture platform built by operators, not career financiers. Led by founder Kevin Hong, a serial tech entrepreneur who has scaled companies to $31M ARR and $7M in revenue, Caprae was formed alongside fellow entrepreneurs who have achieved eight-figure and nine-figure exits (including acquisitions by Twitter and Square). The broader partner network includes a former NASA software engineer and a former Chief of Staff at Google, a team engineered for innovation and disruption.
Since launching in 2025, Caprae has already closed over $50M in transaction value, with $80M+ across its ecosystem, and an additional $60M scheduled to close by Q1 2026. The company has been growing 20%+ MoM for 12 months, and this trend is expected to continue for the next several months.
Caprae is rethinking how entrepreneurship, capital, and talent connect. We operate at the intersection of private equity, venture operations, and founder enablement, and we move aggressively. This is not a traditional finance firm.
Caprae is redefining how entrepreneurship and capital connect. We operate at the intersection of private equity, venture operations, and founder enablement, and we move fast.
Role Overview
We’re looking for a Deal Associate (Part-time) with strong commercial instincts, sharp communication skills, and the drive to turn conversations into real revenue and closed deals.
You will also work US hours which would be an amazing opportunity for a side-hustle
This is a perfect fit for front-line growth role for someone exceptional at outbound outreach, confident presenting to executives, and energized by building pipeline from zero. You’ll sit at the intersection of business development, partnerships, and deal execution—initiating conversations with business owners, building trusted relationships, and helping convert opportunities into completed transactions across Caprae’s platform and portfolio.
This is a great entry point for students, early career professionals that want to break into private equity
Key Responsibilities
- Drive high-volume, high-quality outbound outreach (~10-20 hrs/week) via cold calls
- Initiate and manage conversations with founders, CEOs, and business owners across multiple sectors
- Provide sales and relationship management support with white-labeled products for our clients
- Book and run discovery calls, pitch Caprae’s offerings, and push opportunities forward
- Learn and apply our in-house brokerage system and deal sourcing tools
- Support—and eventually lead—sales, commercial, and transaction-related discussions
- Earn significant commissions by selling Caprae’s internal and white-labeled services
- Own and manage a live pipeline of prospects, client accounts, and active inbound/outbound deal flow
- Track outreach activity, meeting outcomes, and conversion performance with rigor
- Contribute to growth campaigns, brand positioning, and investor engagement
- Assist on select post-close and client success initiatives as needed
What We Look For
- Strong outbound skillset (cold calling, email, LinkedIn messaging, founder/exec rapport)
- Clear communicator with sharp judgment and presence with senior stakeholders
- Hungry, gritty, and autonomous—willing to do the dirty work to earn a seat in private equity
- Comfortable operating in ambiguous, high-intensity environments
- Excellent writing and verbal communication in English
- Strong with numbers; deal exposure is real here
- Finance background or deal experience is a strong plus—but no PE experience required
Culture Fit
We prefer recent grads and early operators who are wired for speed, output, and feedback. If you're coming from banking, traditional PE, or overly structured orgs, be ready to unlearn. This is not a corporate ladder, it’s a launchpad.
We value execution over credentials. If you're coachable, competitive, and serious about earning your way into private equity, you'll thrive here.
Career Growth
This role is built for rapid advancement. High performers can move into Manager-level or platform leadership roles in months, not years - with ownership over pipeline, junior teammates, and meaningful deal flow. Compensation scales aggressively with performance.
In addition to a competitive base salary, top performers earn outsized bonuses tied directly to meetings booked, opportunities originated, and deals closed—not tenure or internal politics. If you consistently generate high-quality opportunities and help close transactions, your total compensation can quickly outpace traditional entry-level finance, consulting, or sales roles.
This is a meritocracy:
output → trust → responsibility → compensation
Compensation
- Competitive base salary
- Commissions for qualified meetings and originated opportunities
- Significant upside on deal closes for top performers
- Performance bonuses tied directly to conversion and revenue impact
- Fast-track growth into Manager, leadership, or broader platform roles within Caprae
