Our client, a successful Fruit Exporter based in Somerset West, is seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator with excellent interpersonal skills. The ideal incumbent has the ability to work as part of a fun and energetic team, and can function effectively in a high paced environment.

Duties will include: *Capture and validate pallet and shipment information *Coordinate pallet movements, inspections, and labelling with cold stores *Prepare loading instructions and shipment documentation *Liaise with shipping agents on space bookings and container movements *Monitor shipments and update clients and internal teams *Support the claims and mock recall processes as needed *all other tasks related to the role.

Essential qualifications, skills and experience:
• Relevant tertiary qualification;
• 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role, specifically in the fruit export industry;
• Excellent computer literacy (specifically MS Excel, including the ability to work with formulas, such as Vlookup);
• Fully bilingual (Afrikaans and English);
• Valid driver’s license.
