MANAGER: ERP SOFTWARE ENGINEERING

TCOE SALARY COMMENCING FROM R1,634,808 TO R2,024,564 PER ANNUM ● REF NO: CS 19/26 ● CAPE TOWN CIVIC CENTRE

Requirements:  

• A minimum requirement  of a relevant B degree
• Eight (8) years’ or more ERP Software Development Management experience with extensive people management experience.

Key performance areas: 

• The Manager ERP Software Engineering is responsible for leading a team of software engineers in the design, development, implementation and maintenance of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solutions
• This role ensures that ERP systems align with business objectives, integrate seamlessly with other enterprise and corporate applications and deliver high performance, scalable and secured solutions
• Lead, mentor and grow a high performing branch and foster a culture of innovation, collaboration and trusted enabler
• Direct and control outcomes associated with the recruitment, deployment, training and performance management of internal staff and externally contracted specialists
• Prepare the capital and operating budget and control expenditure against the approved financial plan for the area of responsibility
• Manage the formulating of specific contracts and tender documents and control contractual obligations
• Direct and control the professional, technical and operational outcomes necessary to ensure that the ERP solutions support the key city Financial, HR, and Service Delivery Process by directing and controlling the professional, technical and operational outcomes necessary to meet legislated, organisational and business improvement requirements
• Disseminate technical, functional and operational information on the immediate, short and long-term objectives and current developments, problems and constraints.
