Candidate Requirements

Review and Interpret Client Specification Drawings, Site Measurements, and Conceptual Sketches.

• Develop detailed 3D Parametric Models of Sheet Metal Parts and Assemblies.

• Produce Accurate Flat Pattern Developments, including Correct Bend Allowances and K-Factor Calculations.

• Generate Manufacturing Drawings and DXF/DWG Files for CNC Laser Cutting, Bending, Welding, and Related Fabrication Processes.

• Compile Assembly Drawings, Component Lists, and Bills of Materials (BOMs). • Maintain Accurate Drawing Registers, Revision Control, and Document Versioning.

• Assist with Reverse Engineering of Components for R&D and Improvement Purposes.

• Support the Technical Team with Drawing Updates, Clarifications, and Production Sup

Demonstrate a Clear Understanding of Technical Design and Draughting Principles during the Interview process.

• Ability to showcase Practical Drafting and Modelling Capability through a Technical Drawing or CAD Test in a Live Environment during the interview process.

• To work from the Company’s  offices.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD Mechanical, Autodesk Inventor, and Microsoft Office.

 Strong understanding of sheet metal fabrication processes, including Laser Cutting, CNC Punching, Press Brake Forming, Rolling, and Welding.

• In-depth knowledge of Bend Allowances, K-Factors, Relief Methods, and Corner Treatments.

• Ability to interpret Structural Steel, Architectural, and Mechanical Drawings. • Experience in Racking Systems is Advantageous.

• Valid Driver’s Licence and Reliable Transport is Advantageous.
