Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver large-scale mixed-use and commercial projects

  • Represent the practice at project briefing and client meetings

  • Evaluate development proposals for compliance with zoning regulations

  • Prepare urban design guidelines (open space, building form, site planning, project review)

  • Develop massing plans and urban design concepts

  • Produce sketch illustrations in Revit and by hand reflecting client briefs

  • Assist with graphic design and presentation material

  • Assist with 3D visualisations of project proposals

  • Produce and coordinate council submission documentation (SDP & Building Plans)

  • Produce coordinated working drawings with other disciplines

  • Attend site meetings and proactively resolve issues to avoid delays

  • Conduct independent site inspections and monitor construction

  • Manage full project involvement from initiation to finalisation

  • Guide and motivate project team members

  • Travel internationally when required

Candidate Requirements

Minimum Requirements

 

  • Master’s Degree in Architecture or Urban Design (M.Arch / MUD)

  • Minimum 5 years’ post-graduate experience

  • Registered with SACAP

  • Advanced proficiency in Revit (certification advantageous)

  • Completion of B+P Revit Assessment (minimum 70%)

  • Ability to sketch in Revit and by hand

  • Intermediate knowledge of Adobe Master Suite

  • Intermediate knowledge of 3D visualisation software

  • Advanced knowledge of council documentation and submission processes

  • Strong technical detailing and construction documentation experience

  • Advanced knowledge of site administration and project management

  • Strong record-keeping and documentation practices

  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail

  • Strong client service orientation

  • Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team

  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving ability

  • Ability to manage workflow, deadlines, and team members effectively

  • Professional conduct and strong company loyalty
