Our client, a well-established business in the manufacturing and construction industry based in Philippi (Cape Town), has an opportunity for a highly organised and proactive
Contracts Manager to join their team.

The ideal candidate is confident managing multiple sites, coordinating with engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards. They should be solutions-oriented, commercially aware, and able to resolve issues on site while maintaining compliance and driving operational excellence.

Responsibilities will include (but not limited to): *Lead and manage site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers *Develop, monitor, and adjust project schedules, budgets, and resource plans *Ensure compliance with South African building codes, OHS Act, and SACPCMP standards *Oversee procurement and logistics of materials and equipment *Maintain quality control and conduct regular site inspections *Drive health and safety culture across all projects *Report project progress to senior management and liaise with clients, architects, and engineers *Identify and manage risks, resolve site issues, and ensure smooth project delivery *All other tasks related to the role.

Essential qualifications, skills and experience:
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or related field;
• 5-8 years’ proven experience in contract management or a senior site management role;
• Experience working on civil projects, demolition and bulk earthworks projects are highly preferrable;
• Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport;
• Willing to travel between sites regularly.
