Our client, a well-established business in the manufacturing and construction industry based in Philippi (Cape Town), is looking for a reliable and proactive Construction Foreman to lead daily site operations.

The ideal candidate is a natural leader who takes ownership of tasks, motivates and guides teams, communicates clearly, and maintains a calm, solution-focused approach under pressure. They are dependable, organised, and able to make sound decisions on site while ensuring safety, quality, and project timelines are met.

Responsibilities will include (but not limited to): *Supervise construction site activities and assign tasks to workers *Monitor project progress against schedules and budgets, reporting updates to project managers *Enforce safety protocols, building codes, and quality standards *Train, mentor, and motivate construction workers, resolving conflicts as needed *Inspect completed work for accuracy and compliance, ensuring efficient use of materials and equipment *All other tasks related to the role.

Essential qualifications, skills and experience:
• Matric required, a relevant tertiary qualification will be beneficial;
• 3-5 years’ hands-on construction site experience;
• Experience working on civil projects, demolition and bulk earthworks projects are highly preferrable;
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings;
• Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport;
• Willing to travel between sites regularly.
