Parts Sales Representative

Location: Wallmannsthal, Pretoria
Salary:  R20 000 + 3% commission on the profit of individual parts sales
Benefits: Provident Fund (effective after successful completion of a 3-month probation period)
Starting Date: January 2026

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Thursday: 08:00 – 17:00
  • Friday: 08:00 – 16:00
    (Candidates are required to report 15 minutes before the start of their shift.)\

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Customer Service and Sales:
  • Sell parts to clients (walk-in and telephonic sales).
  • Conduct "cold calling" to acquire new clients and support existing ones.
  • Understand and explain clients’ specific parts needs.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships while professionally managing challenging situations.
  1. Logistics and Administrative Tasks:
  • Ensure correct packaging and shipping of parts to clients.
  • Process sales and invoices using Sage Accounting (experience beneficial).
  • Maintain accurate records of sales and client data.
  1. Product and Technical Knowledge:
  • Develop an understanding of earthmoving machinery and their parts (beneficial).
  • Ensure clients receive exactly what they need to keep their machinery running optimally.
  1. Goal Achievement:
  • Set and achieve sales targets by showing initiative and enthusiasm in sales.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Grade 12 (matric).
  • Computer literacy in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Office.
  • Valid driver’s license and own transport.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Experience with Sage Accounting.
  • Background in selling earthmoving machinery parts.

Sleutel Verantwoordelikhede:

  1. Kliëntediens en Verkope:
  • Verkoop parte aan kliënte (stap-in en telefoniese verkope).
  • Doen “cold calling” om nuwe kliënte te werf en bestaande kliënte te ondersteun.
  • Begryp en verduidelik kliënte se spesifieke partebehoeftes.
  • Bou en handhaaf sterk kliëntverhoudings terwyl uitdagende situasies professioneel hanteer word.

  • Verseker die korrekte verpakking en versending van parte aan kliënte.
  • Verwerk verkope en fakturering via Sage Accounting (ervaring is voordelig).

  • Verkry ’n begrip van earthmoving-masjiene en hul parte (voordelig).
  • Verseker dat kliënte presies ontvang wat benodig word om hul masjiene optimaal te laat werk.
  1. Doelwitbereiking:
  • Stel en bereik verkoopsdoelwitte deur inisiatief en entoesiasme in verkope te toon.

  • Professionele hantering van moeilike kliënte en klagtes.
  • Bereiking van verkoopsdoelwitte in ’n hoëdruk-omgewing.
  • Verseker dat kliënte se partebehoeftes korrek geïdentifiseer en voorsien word.

Minimum Vereistes:

  • Graad 12 (matriek).
  • Rekenaargeletterdheid in Microsoft Word, Excel, en Office.
  • Geldige rybewys en eie vervoer.
  • Ondervinding in die verkoop van earthmoving-masjiene se parte.

Vaardighede en Eienskappe:

  • Uitstekende kommunikasievaardighede.
  • Sterk kliëntediensvaardighede met ’n oplossingsgedrewe benadering.
  • Vermoë om onder druk te presteer en uitdagings aan te pak.
  • Selfgedrewe, gemotiveerd en gefokus op die oorskryding van verkoopsdoelwitte.
