Our client, a reputable MEP Consulting Firm, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Electrical Design Engineer/ Technologist specialising in Building Services, to join their growing team in their Cape Town office.

Their diverse, multicultural team works closely with clients to understand their unique needs, consistently exceeding expectations through innovation, technical excellence, and client collaboration. From commercial developments to large-scale infrastructure projects, they bring a wealth of expertise and a commitment to sustainability, ensuring long-lasting, impactful results.

Minimum Requirements:

·        B Eng, BSc Eng or BTech - Electrical Engineering

·        5 years’ post grad experience in the design of electrical building services

·        Bilingual in English and Afrikaans

·        ECSA registration (advantageous)

Key Responsibilities:

·        Electrical Building Services Design Engineer/Technologist supporting the Lead Engineer and Electrical Design teams for Building Services Projects.

·        Manage and contract supervision of Building Services projects.

·        Report writing, compiling of technical specification and bills of quantities.

·        Prepare contract documentation.

·        Liaise with clients, staff, and other professionals from inception to handover phase.
